Fiery Bell Road Crash Kills Nashville Man
A 49-year-old man, who was not wearing a seat belt, died after crashing his car into a light pole in Antioch Sunday.

ANTIOCH, TN -- A fiery crash in Antioch killed a 49-year-old Nashville man early Sunday morning.
Metro Police said the man hit a utility pole at Bell Road and Cane Ridge Road around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, causing his vehicle to erupt in flames.

No other cars were involved and there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol use at the scene, police said. The man was not wearing his seatbelt.
Police tentatively identified the driver as a 49-year-old man, but said due to the severity of the injuries, a positive identification will have to be made by the medical examiner.
