Get Yourself A Pittie: MACC Waiving Adoption Fees on Pit Bulls

October is National Pit Bull Month and fees on the dogs are waived through October 23.

NASHVILLE, TN β€” October is National Pit Bull Month and to celebrate, Metro Animal Care and Control is hosting a "Pittie Party," waiving adoption fees for all dogs that meet the criteria to be considered a pit bull or pit bull mix.

The event runs through October 23 at the shelter at 5125 Harding Place. Williamson County Adoption Center is also participating.

β€œBoth MACC and WCAC treat each dog in their programs as individuals.” said Rebecca Morris, Spokesperson for Metro Animal Care and Control. β€œRight now our shelter is full of pittie mixes and we hope Nashville residents will consider adopting during our Pittie Party.”
