Gunman Sticks Up 2 Nashville Pharmacies: Police

Metro Police are looking for a man who robbed two Nashville pharmacies at gunpoint in an apparent bid for narcotics.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police detectives are searching for a masked man who robbed two pharmacies at gunpoint last week, apparently looking for narcotics.

The man began by demanding narcotics at gunpoint from the Bridgestone Pharmacy at 25 Hamilton Crossing at 10:50 a.m. April 12. He was told by the clerk the pharmacy only carried diabetic supplies and he fled empty handed.

Ten minutes later, the same man entered Good Shepherd Pharmacy at 2717 Murfreesboro Pike and again demanded narcotics at gunpoint and was again told none were available. The man reportedly grabbed bottles of non-narcotic prescription drugs and fled in an early model white Ford Expedition driven by a second person.

Witnesses said the gunman is a white man who appears to be in his 20s. He is approximately 5-feet-11-inches tall with a thin build. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt with Adidas on the front in white lettering during both robberies. He wore sunglasses and a bandana to partially cover his face during the second hold-up.
