Hot Donuts: Krispy Kreme Truck Burglarized
Metro Police found a Krispy Kreme truck ransacked and donuts strewn about in Antioch early Thursday.
ANTIOCH, TN — Metro Police discovered a tragic scene early Thursday morning, as donuts were strewn about a street after an apparent burglary of a Krispy Kreme truck.
Gunshots were reported on Baby Ruth Lane around 4:30 a.m. When police arrived, they learned the truck had been broken into and a witness reported seeing someone throwing donuts into the road.
None of those donuts survived.

Investigators did not find any evidence of shots fired, so it's unclear if the gunfire was related to the truck break-in.
No one is yet in custody.
