Man Hides In Car, Threatens Driver With Gun: Nashville Police
Metro Police say a man climbed into the backseat of an unlocked car and forced a woman to drive at gunpoint.
NASHVILLE, TN -- A 22-year-old Nashville woman returned from a quick trip into a Nolensville Pike convenience store to find a man hiding in her backseat.
Metro Police said the woman parked her car in front of the Shell at 5455 Nolensville Pike at 9 p.m. Friday, leaving it unlocked as she went inside. After her shopping trip, she began to drive on Hickory View Drive. After about 10 minutes, a man leapt up from the backseat, said he was armed and ordered her to drive.

She told police that initially she complied, but then sped up, made some sharp, high-speed turns and returned to the Shell.
She jumped out of the car, as did the assailant.

Detectives say the suspect is a black man who appears to be in his 20s. He is approximately 6-feet tall with a medium build. Anyone recognizing him from the surveillance photos is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
