Man Shot, Seriously Injured During South Nashville Robbery Bid
A man was shot in the leg and is in serious condition after an early morning robbery attempt in South Nashville.
NASHVILLE, TN -- A man's face was injured and he was shot in the leg during an apparent robbery attempt in South Nashville early Tuesday.
Metro Police said the man was dropped off Tristar Southern Hills Medical Center around 1:15 Tuesday morning and told investigators his wallet was stolen and he was hit in the face in addition to being shot in the thigh.
Detectives are working to determine the location of the stick-up and a suspect description. The victim was transferred from Southern Hills to Skyline and is in serious condition.
