NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police's Major Case Task Force arrested two men and seized drugs, guns, cars and cash as part of a seven-month investigation into a cocaine and methamphetamine distribution ring, the department announced Thursday.

Mario Santos-Lopez, 48, and a man who initially identified himself as Juan Carlos Martinez, 44, are both jailed on felony drug charges following the seizure of nearly one pound of cocaine, two ounces of crystal meth, a pistol, four vehicles and more than $31,000 in cash, police said.

It was later determined that Martinez's real name is Wblesther Jimenez and that he has outstanding drug warrants in Dallas, according to investigators.
