The 16-year-old, who was in the Compass at the time, stopped and asked the girl for her phone number. She refused and told him to go away and the teenager then grabbed the girl, who began to struggle in an effort to get away. Just then, a man drove up in a white pick-up truck, stopped, backed up on the shoulder of the road, got out of his truck and apparently scared off the 16-year-old after confronting him.

Police say the 10-year-old positively identified the 16-year-old as her attacker. Youth Services Detectives would like to speak to the pick-up truck driver as part of the investigation.
