Nashville Youth Football Coach Busted With Guns, Drugs: Police

Cocaine, heroin and a stolen gun were seized from a man tied to a Nashville youth football program, police say.

ANTIOCH, TN -- Investigators seized cocaine, heroin, guns, cars and cash from an Antioch man with ties to a local youth football program, police say.

Metro Police executed a search warrant on the Windcrest Trail home of Cedrick Watkins and reportedly seized 6.8 ounces of cocaine, 1.8 ounces of heroin, a stolen pistol, two vehicles and $3,246 cash, along with a USA Football coaching card and paperwork listing the address as the office for a local youth football non-profit.

Watkins, a convicted felon, faces multiple drug and gun charges. He is free on a $65,000 bond.
