Serial South Nashville Stick-Up Suspect Arrested

Metro Police arrested a man said to have gone on an armed robbery spree in South Nashville this summer.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police arrested a 20-year-old man Tuesday, charging him in connection with a rash of armed robberies in South Nashville over the summer.

Police say in mid-July, Anthony Keeton robbed two people six houses apart on Torbay Drive within hours of one another and then held up another man in his garage the next day.

Keeton was armed with a pistol in all three incidents, investigators said. One victim was reportedly struck in the head with the gun during the stick-up.

Keeton is charged with five counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held on a $200,000 bond.
