Speedballs, Pot, Guns, Kids Found At South Nashville Home: Police
Three people were arrested after police say they discovered a heroin-cocaine mix, marijuana and guns in a home in South Nashville.
NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police arrested three people Thursday after discovering a potent mix of cocaine and heroin along with marijuana and guns in a South Nashville home where three children were living.
Officers executed a search warrant at the home at 106 Hickory Trace Cove, just across Old Hickory Boulevard from the Williamson County line. During the search, investigators said they recovered more than 220 grams of a heroin-cocaine mix known commonly as speedball, 16 grams of marijuana, three handguns, three rifles and $9,839. A 2013 Dodge Charger allegedly utilized for drug sales was also seized.
Devonte Jackson, 25, Demetria Ferrell, 30, and Breanna Ferrell, 24, were all arrested. MNPD said three children -- 11, 7 and 3-weeks-old - were at the home and have since been released to the custody of a family member.

All three suspects are charged with numerous drug and gun charges, along with child endangerment.
