Teen Girl Arrested For South Nashville Man's Murder

A 16-year-old girl is charged with the November murder of a 74-year-old South Nashville man.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police arrested a 16-year-old girl for the November murder of a 74-year-old man who was shot when he was retrieving his trash can from outside his South Nashville home.

Ruxin Wang was killed Nov. 9 when he was shot outside his home on Claiborne Street around 4 p.m.

Detectives say that Myeshia Brown was with the group of young people who were seen running from the scene and that the investigation determined she was the shooter.

Brown is charged with criminal homicide and is being held at juvenile detention. She refused to speak with detectives, according to police.

Police have not said if they are seeking other suspects.
