West Nashville Man Hit By Car, Killed On I-24
Investigators say a 28-year-old man was either sitting or lying down in the right lane of the interstate when he was fatally struck Saturday
NASHVILLE, TN -- A 28-year-old West Nashville man died Saturday after he was hit by a car in a bizarre incident on Interstate 24 south of downtown.
According to Metro Police, Marlon Soliz-Hernandez was either sitting or lying down in the right lane of I-24 between the Hickory Hollow and Bell Road exits when he was hit by a car just after 6:30 Saturday night.
An investigation is ongoing, but charges are not expected against the driver, who is cooperating.
