Woman Paid $2300 To Haul Meth, Pot To Nashville: Police
A 22-year-old woman was arrested for carrying five pounds of meth and one pound of marijuana on a bus from Atlanta to Nashville.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police arrested a 22-year-old woman for carrying five pounds of meth and one pound of marijuana from Atlanta to Nashville on a bus.
Iesha Marquez’s arrest reportedly told investigators she was paid $2,300 to transport the drugs and that a 16-year-old girl traveling with her would get $500, as well.
Marquez is charged with possession of meth and marijuana for resale. She is being held in lieu of $30,000 bond. The 16-year-old girl was taken to juvenile detention.

The bust was part of a joint Metro Police/Drug Enforcement Administration operation.
