Brentwood, Williamson Have Tennessee's Lowest Unemployment
Brentwood has the lowest unemployment rate of any city in Tennessee.

NASHVILLE, TN — Williamson County's unemployment fell slightly to 2.4 percent in February, down 0.1 percent from January's revised rate, according to the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development, and remains the state's lowest.
The unemployment rate fell in 69 of Tennessee's 95 counties, rose in five and was unchanged in 21 others.
Of the ten lowest county-level figures statewide, nine were in Middle Tennessee.

In Brentwood, the city-level unemployment rate is estimated at 2.3 percent, down 0.1 percent from January and is the lowest figure among Tennessee cities of 25,000 people or more. Neighboring Franklin is second with 2.4 percent joblessness.
Williamson County's unemployment rate has dropped 0.8 percent since February 2017.

The state rate, reported last week, is 3.4 percent, up 0.1 percent from January's adjusted figure.
