The meeting, from 6-8pm, will be an open house format where residents can come and go to learn. A brief introduction about the project will be given at 6 p.m. The primary purpose of the meeting will be to discuss with adjacent owners the direct impact to their property. General information regarding what to expect for acquisition of right of way and other associated easements will also be discussed. Residents are welcome to ask comments are email them to Darek.Baskins@brentwoodtn.gov
This new roundabout is being designed to improve the operation of the intersection at Murray Lane and Holly Tree Gap. The intersection is one of the last all-way stop controlled intersections within the City of Brentwood and delays during peak hours can be excessive. Intersection operations will be improved by implementing a single lane roundabout at the location, like recent improvements on Crockett Road at Green Hills Blvd and Arrowhead Drive. The proposed roundabout will reduce delays for the intersection and provide safer movements through the intersection. The proposed improvements will also support potential future sidewalks as well as possible landscaping within the center island.
