Driver Killed in Interstate 65 Wreck Near Brentwood

BRENTWOOD, TN — A man has died from injuries in a single-vehicle wreck early Sunday on Interstate 65 near Brentwood, according to media reports.

Driven by a 25-year-old whose name has not been released, the car left the interstate near Old Hickory Boulevard, according to WSMV.

The car rolled and the driver was thrown from the vehicle, according to News 2.

The man was reportedly talking and moving when first responders arrived. But his condition worsened and he was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
