1 Dead in Donelson Pike Crash
A stretch of Donelson Pike near the Nashville International Airport was closed following a fatal wreck Saturday night.
DONELSON, TN -- A three-car wreck near the Nashville International Airport killed one person Saturday night.
Metro Police said a Dodge van crossed the center double-yellow line around 9 p.m., hitting another vehicle head-on and sending it into a third vehicle.
One driver died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Two others are hurt, though their injuries are not life-threatening.

Donelson Pike was closed between Interstate 40 and the airport for several hours.
