1 Injured In East Nashville Shooting Shortly Before Eclipse

In the moments before Monday's eclipse, someone was shot outside an East Nashville apartment complex.

NASHVILLE, TN — One person was injured in a shooting in the minutes before Monday's solar eclipse.

Metro Police said the victim was hit just after 1 p.m. Monday outside the Fallbrook Apartments on Dellway Villa Avenue.

The victim was taken by private vehicle to Skyline Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue to search for the shooter.
