15-Year-Old Shot Dead, 16-Year-Old Wanted
Metro Police are searching for a 16-year-old suspected in the shooting death of a Maplewood High School student.
NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police are searching for a 16-year-old wanted in the shooting death of a 15-year-old Maplewood High School student outside his home Tuesday night.
Thomas Howard, 15, was shot outside his house on Brookway Drive around 7 p.m. Tuesday and taken to Skyline Medical Center, where he later died.
Metro Police allege the shooter is Kevon Mayberry. Metro Nashville Public Schools said Mayberry is enrolled at Bass Learning Center but has not attended class since November.
