Body Found In Car Pulled From Cumberland River
The body of a person missing since 2016 was found inside a car submerged in the Cumberland.

MADISON, TN — A body was discovered inside a car pulled from the Cumberland River near Neely's Bend Road Wednesday afternoon.
The car was registered to a person reported missing from another county in 2016, according to Metro Police, and foul play is not suspected.

Investigators sealed off much of Peeler Park at the end of Neely's Bend while the car was towed out. The county medical examiner will identify the body and determine the cause of death.
