Boyfriend Shot, Baby Injured In Hermitage Domestic Dispute: MNPD

HERMITAGE, TN -- A man was shot numerous times by his girlfriend during a domestic dispute in Hermitage Tuesday night, according to Metro Police.

After the altercation, the woman dropped her boyfriend off at Summit Medical Center. He was later transferred to Skyline; the extent of his injuries is unknown.

During the investigation, the police learned the woman's baby was in the couple's Bell Road apartment during the incident. The child reportedly has scratches and bruises.

The woman was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for evaluation.

Police are continuing to investigate.
