Cars Keyed With X's In East Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN -- A neighborhood in East Nashville is being ravaged by a car keyer and Metro Police hope a home surveillance system can crack the case.

Cars in the McFerrin Park neighborhood, particularly on Treutland Avenue and North Second Street, have been marked with X's, likely by a key.

While car break-ins aren't unusual in the neighborhood, residents told WKRN, this is the first string of vandalism.

Metro Police are asking residents to check their home security cameras to see if the perpetrator can be identified.
