Davidson County Deputy Dies After Crash
A Davidson County sheriff's deputy died from injuries sustained in an off-duty crash.
NASHVILLE, TN -- A Davidson County Sheriff's Office deputy died Tuesday after an off-duty car crash over the weekend.
A DCSO spokesperson told WKRN Gilmore was returning to Nashville after visiting family in Illinois when he was involved in the wreck. He was taken to Skyline Medical Center, where he died Tuesday.
Sheriff Daron Hall tweeted "our hearts are heavy" after Gilmore's death.
