Drive-By Victim Calls 911 From High School Parking Lot

An injured 27-year-old told Metro Police he was hit in a drive-by on Dickerson Road early Saturday morning.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 27-year-old drive-by shooting victim called police from the parking lot of Stratford High School early Saturday morning.

The man told investigators he was driving on Dickerson Road when a black car began to follow him and then someone inside the car opened fire, hitting the driver.

The man drove to the high school and called 911; he was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were unable to locate the crime scene and the man refused further cooperation with detectives, according to Metro Police.
