Firefighter Falls Through Floor, Pets Dead In Inglewood Blaze
A firefighter had to be rescued after he fell through the floor battling a blaze in Inglewood during which four pets were killed.

INGLEWOOD, TN -- A Nashville firefighter fell through the floor while battling a blaze at an Inglewood home Wednesday night.
The owner of the house in the 1300 block of Stratford Avenue returned home shortly after 8 p.m. to find smoke pouring from the house.
The firefighter fell through the floor and into the basement, leading to an all-out rescue effort from the rest of the crew. The firefighter was not injured.

The home sustained some damage but was not destroyed, but four animals died in the fire, according to fire officials.
An investigation is ongoing.
