Sandor brought her son to the hospital because of "unexplained medical episodes that would leave him blue, and limp," according to a police report.

"After an extended stay at VCH, and several tests the juvenile victim was placed in a room where medical staff could monitor his condition. During the monitoring of his medical needs, the defendant was witnessed by staff using her hands in an effort to stop the juvenile victim from breathing. The defendant accomplished this by covering both his nose and mouth with her hand. It was clear to all parties that witnessed this act the victim was in distress, and struggled to get free from her grip," the report continues.
