Hermitage Bank Robbery: Recognize Him?

The man who robbed a Hermitage bank Monday may be the same man who robbed a Donelson bank October 23.

HERMITAGE, TN — The man who robbed a Hermitage bank Monday may well be the same man who robbed a Donelson bank a week earlier, according to Metro Police and the FBI.

At 2:45 Monday afternoon, the man walked into the Fifth Third Bank branch at 5550 Old Hickory Boulevard and handed the teller a demand note, according to police. After the teller handed over the cash, the man fled on foot.

The suspect is a white man who appears to be in his late 20s or 30s. He is approximately 6-feet-2-inches tall with a thin build. He has brown hair, a mustache and goatee. He wore a neon yellow hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, a camouflage ball cap and sunglasses.

Police noted he bears a resemblance to the man who robbed the U.S. Bank inside the Donelson Kroger October 23.
