Hermitage Teen Shot In Hip, Shooter Sought
Metro Police are searching for the person who shot a Hermitage teen outside an apartment complex early Monday.
HERMITAGE, TN -- A teenager is recovering after being shot in the hip near a Hermitage apartment complex early Monday.
The teenager was dropped off at Summit Medical Center around 2 a.m. but later transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The injuries are not life-threatening.
Police said the teen was shot in the 4700 block of Trenton Drive near an apartment complex. Investigators found shell casings and blood on the scene.
