Homeless Pedestrian Hit, Killed In East Nashville
A 45-year-old man who was homeless was hit and killed by a pick-up truck at a busy East Nashville intersection Wednesday night.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 45-year-old pedestrian, who was homeless, died after he was hit by a pickup truck at one of East Nashville's busiest intersections Wednesday night.
Just after 7 p.m. Friday, a pickup truck driven by 23-year-old Joseph Hernandez hit the man - who was not immediately identified as police work to locate his next of kin - in the Trinity Lane-Dickerson Pike intersection.
Hernandez remained on the scene and police determined he was unable to avoid hitting the pedestrian, who investigators said ran into the road.
