Infamous Inglewood Hookah Bar Faces Eviction
The landlords of Cloud IX, the site of two deadly shootings this year, say the hookah bar's operator owes $175,000 in back rent.

INGLEWOOD, TN -- Neighbors of infamous Inglewood hookah bar Cloud IX, the site of two deadly shootings this year, have been exploring ways to shut down the business, but they may get an assist in their quest from the property owners.
The owners of the property at Stratford Avenue and Gallatin Pike filed an eviction notice against Cloud IX's owner, Erica Fenton, alleging she owes $175,000 in back rent.
Since Sunday's deadly shootout, calls have increased among residents and neighboring businesses to shut down the hookah bar. There was also a fatal shooting in Cloud IX's parking lot in May.

According to Metro Police, there have been 12 calls to Cloud IX in 2017 including two shootings, six calls of disorderly people or fights and four alarms.
Police and Metro councilmembers are reviewing evidence in an effort to ask a judge to declare Cloud IX a public nuisance. The eviction hearing is set for Jan. 4.
