Madison Apartment Fire Displaces Elderly Couple
A fire, possibly caused by an oxygen machine, displaced an elderly couple in Madison early Thursday.
MADISON, TN -- An early morning fire displaced an elderly Madison couple from their apartment Thursday.
Nashville Fire crews arrived at the Madison Manor apartment complex on Old Hickory Boulevard at 4:15 Thursday morning to battle the small blaze.
Early indications were that the fire was caused by an oxygen machine. The fire was largely confined to couple's personal items, though the Red Cross was assisting them with finding a place to stay temporarily.
