Madison Man Moved Meth In Minivan: Metro Police

A minivan driver in Madison was carrying meth, heroin and cocaine, according to Metro Police.

MADISON, TN -- A 39-year-old man is facing numerous drug charges after a traffic stop in Madison.

Metro Police pulled over a minivan driven by Edward Statzer when he failed to signal a turn onto Anderson Lane from Snow Avenue Thursday afternoon. He was eventually pulled over nearly a half-mile away at May Drive and Roosevelt Avenue.

During a search following the stop, police say they found 8.1 grams of cocaine, .3 grams of meth and what Statzer allegedly told them was heroin in an uncapped needle.

Statzer is being held on a $41,500 bond in Davidson County Jail, charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
