Madison Pair Laced Heroin, Meth With Fentanyl: Police
Metro Police arrested a Madison duo for lacing drugs with fentanyl.

MADISON, TN -- Two people were arrested for lacing heroin and methamphetamine with fentanyl outside a Madison home while a three-year-old was inside.
Acting on tips from neighbors, Metro Police moved on a Plymouth Rock Court home and ordered David Buckner, 45, and his 60-year-old girlfriend Linda Anderson to come outside. Officers opted to confront the pair outside because of the suspected presence of fentanyl, which can be as 100 times as potent as morphine and can be deadly in even minuscule amounts.
After placing the pair in custody, detectives in protective gear searched the home. Investigators say they found equipment used to turn fentanyl gel into powder, a pill press, a mirror with traces of fentanyl and two fentanyl patches.

Buckner allegedly extracted the gel from the patches and added it to heroin and meth, which he then sold, according to police.
Both Buckner and Anderson are charged with manufacturing a Schedule II narcotic, felony drug possession and child endangerment. A three-year-old had been living at the house for at least two months, according to police.
