Madison Woman's Rent Stolen In Home Invasion

A woman says two men held her at gunpoint at a Madison home early Wednesday morning, stealing her rent money.

MADISON, TN — A woman's rent money was stolen in an early morning Madison home invasion Wednesday.

The woman said she was expecting someone, so she wasn't surprised to hear a knock on her door at 2:45 a.m., but when she opened it slightly, two men forced it open and held her at gunpoint.

The men — the victim said one was black and the other white, both with black bandannas over their faces and both armed — stole the woman's rent money and then fled in an unknown direction.

The woman had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
