Man Drops Pants, Grabs Stun Gun During Arrest: Nashville Police
A pantsless man grabbed a police officer's stun gun in East Nashville, according to MNPD.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 37-year-old man under arrest for being pantsless in public allegedly grabbed a police officer's stun gun in East Nashville Friday.
According to an affidavit, officers were called to Trevecca Avenue Friday afternoon after reports of a man walking into traffic and screaming at passing motorists. The officers found 37-year-old Nicholas Kirkpatrick on Douglas Avenue and said he was "incoherent" and "could not answer simple questions."
During the encounter, Kirkpatrick reportedly dropped his pants "exposing his genitals and buttocks" to passersby. Kirkpatrick then tried to run away as the two officers attempted to arrest him. Eventually, they caught up to him and he grabbed a stun gun from one of them, according to the affidavit.

He pointed the stun gun at the officers and then tried to grab a gun from them. They were eventually able to subdue and disarm Kirkpatrick.
He is charged with indecent exposure, two counts of assaulting an officer, evading arrest and resisting arrest.
