Nashville Police Can't Stop Tragic End In Murder-Suicide
A man who police said already shot and killed his girlfriend turned the gun on himself as Nashville officers urged him to stop.

NASHVILLE, TN — Nashville police urged Terry Moyers to put the gun down, to keep from making an already tragic situation even worse. Instead, Moyers turned the gun on himself and pulled the trigger, leaving his three-year-old daughter without either parent.
According to police, just before 12:30 Thursday afternoon, Moyers, 41, called 911 to report he'd shot and killed Veronica Warren, his 30-year-old girlfriend and mother of his child, at a home on Chickasaw Avenue and that he ended to kill himself. He'd already told another adult in the house, who was with the couple's daughter, what he'd done and what he intended to do.
