Nashville Police Officer Breaks Leg In Hit And Run
Metro Police are looking for the driver of a car that hit an officer and broke her leg.

MADISON, TN — A Metro Police officer is recovering at home after her leg was broken in a hit and run in Madison Monday morning.
A 2002 Honda Civic hit the patrol car of Officer Ashton Hill at the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Rio Vista Drive, investigators say.

The driver abandoned the car at the crash scene and fled on foot. His passenger claimed not to know the driver’s identity.
Investigators learned that the alleged driver was in a local convenience store Sunday and obtained a photo of him (above) from the store's surveillance system.
