A man wanted in a spree of pizza delivery driver robberies in Hermitage was arrested Sunday.

HERMITAGE, TN -- The prime suspect in a spree of pizza delivery driver stick-ups in Hermitage was arrested Sunday.

Metro Police detectives arrested Jamond Curry, 18, after he allegedly robbed $40 from a Papa John's driver at the Lakeside Apartments on Bell Road Tuesday night.

The driver was walking up some stairs to drop off a pie at an apartment when a gunman jumped out and demanded cash, she told police.

Detectives said that complex and a neighboring one have been the sites of numerous delivery-driver robberies over the last year with nearly-identical modi operandi and suspect descriptions.

Curry lives in the Lakeside Apartments and police said he has been on their radar for the hold-ups for a while.

MNPD said Curry was arrested after a line-up and charged with aggravated robbery. He's yet to be charged in any other cases.
