Quartet Sought In Deadly East Nashville Shooting

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 34-year-old Burns man died after a shooting outside a Ben Allen Road apartment complex Tuesday night.

According to his girlfriend, Shamar Lewis went to the Cobblestone Corner Apartments to meet up with someone and after he walked around the back of an apartment, she heard gunshots.

She then saw four people - all possibly teenagers - run towards the parking lot and into an SUV. She found Lewis lying outside the apartment. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Police did not release a complete description of the suspects or the SUV in which they drove away.
