Rock-Throwing Spree Nears Downtown Nashville

After nine reported rock-throwing attacks on cars in southeast Davidson County, a tenth has been reported near downtown.

NASHVILLE, TN — Another Nashville driver reported rocks thrown at her car, this time just across the Cumberland River from downtown, miles away from the center of the stone attacks in southeast Davidson County.

MJ Trevens told NewsChannel 5 she was driving into work Wednesday when she saw a woman in sweatpants swinging a plastic bag over head like a lasso. Obviously, it caught her attention, as this isn't a usual sight on James Robertson Parkway at 8 a.m.
