Shelby Bottoms Jogger Held At Knifepoint

A 22-year-old was detained by bystanders after he allegedly attacked a jogger with a knife on a Shelby Bottoms trail.

NASHVILLE, TN — Bystanders were able to detain a 22-year-old man who allegedly held a jogger at knifepoint on a trail in East Nashville.

Justin Nannie is charged with aggravated assault, accused of attacking a 31-year-old woman jogging on a trail in Shelby Bottoms.

The woman was able to run away uninjured and the bystanders held Nannie until police arrived.
