A 46-year-old man was pulled over for driving 5 mph on Long Hollow Pike and arrested for driving high on synthetic marijuana.

GOODLETTSVILLE, TN — Among synthetic marijuana's side-effects: driving excruciatingly slowly, apparently.

Early Friday morning, police pulled over Chidebelu Chukwuuemeka, 46, on Long Hollow Pike after officers clocked him driving at 5 mph. Chukwuuemeka allegedly stopped in the middle of his lane at least four times and drove over the curb while turning from Conference Drive on to Long Hollow, according to an arrest report.

The officer making the stop said Chukwuuemeka was "flailing" about in his car and threw a bottle of water onto his floorboard for no apparent reason. The officer said he saw "a green, leafy substance" on Chukwuuemeka's lap, which was determined to be K2, a synthetic form of marijuana.

Chukwuuemeka was arrest for DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of synthetic cannabinoids, and driving on a suspended license.
