Teen Pulled Gun On Officer: Nashville Police

Two teenagers were arrested after one of them allegedly pulled a gun on a police officer at a Dickerson Pike gas station Tuesday.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 15-year-old pulled a .40-caliber semi-automatic pistol on a patrolman Tuesday, according to Metro Police.

Around 11:30 Tuesday night, an officer saw a silver Hyundai Sonata with Florida tags at a Dickerson Pike gas station. The officer ran the plates and found the vehicle was reported stolen earlier this month after an Elm Hill Pike carjacking.

The officer walked to the car to arrest a 15-year-old standing nearby when the teenager reached in his waistband to pull the handgun, according to an arrest report. The officer wrestled with the teenager and was able to get the gun from him, though the teenager then ran away.

Investigators say a 17-year-old in the front seat of the car had a loaded .45-caliber semi-automatic pistol which had been reported stolen from Kentucky tucked between the seat and the door.

The officer arrested the 17-year-old and another officer was able to arrest the 15-year-old at a nearby apartment complex.
