Teen Suicide Ends Hermitage Standoff: Police
An hours-long barricade incident at a Hermitage home ended tragically Thursday.

HERMITAGE, TN -- An hours-long police standoff ended tragically Thursday, as a teenager took his own life while barricaded inside a Hermitage home.
Metro Police were called to a Lebanon Pike home around 6:30 a.m. Thursday and by 9, officers were in a barricade situation with the 17-year-old.
A shots-fired call went out shortly thereafter and police confirmed officers had not fired. It was later determined the teenage boy had fired the gun.
