Twins Arrested In East Nashville Shooting

A 62-year-old woman was shot in the hip in East Nashville Thursday and 18-year-old twins are in police custody.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police arrested a set of 18-year-old twins after a 62-year-old woman was shot in the hip Thursday afternoon.

The woman was sitting outside a home on Litton Avenue when she was hit by gunfire shortly before 3 p.m. She was taken to Skyline Medical Center for treatment.

The first officer on the scene described the shooter's car, which was seen shortly thereafter on Gallatin Avenue. Police saw a pistol under the passenger seat during the traffic stop. The passenger, Quindarius Jordan, was charged with aggravated assault and felony weapon possession. Investigators believe he was shooting at someone else when he hit the 62-year-old woman.

His twin brother, Quintarius Jordan, was driving the car and is being charged as an accessory.
