1 Dead In Thompson's Station Shooting

THOMPSON'S STATION, TN — Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in a Thompson's Station subdivision Sunday afternoon.

Some time between 1 and 2 p.m. Sunday, the man — 35-year-old Phillip Pero — was shot and killed in the Cameron Farms subdivision, less than three miles from the Maury County line. Spring Hill Police have identified James Huddleston, 34, as the suspect.

According to SHPD, Huddleston told other people in the home he had shot Pero.

Police believe he may be traveling with his girlfriend and a young child. He was last seen driving a red 1997 Cadillac Seville with a faded hood and aftermarket wheels.
