2 Franklin Attorneys Indicted On Pot Charges

Two Franklin attorneys, one of whom is a former Assistant DA, were indicted on drug-dealing charges.

FRANKLIN, TN -- Two Franklin attorneys, both former prosecutors and one a former assistant district-attorney, were indicted on drug-dealing charges Tuesday.

Franklin Police arrested Georgia Felner and Sandra Wells following the grand jury indictment; both allegedly sold drugs to FPD undercover officers.

“This case is particularly disappointing because of the close working relationship and trust that the criminal justice community had with both defendants. The Department is especially thankful for the assistance and support provided to us in this investigation by District Attorney General Kim Helper’s Office," FPD Chief Deborah Faulkner said.
