- The 8th Annual Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival is this week. The popular festival is scheduled for Sep. 24 and Sep. 25 at The Park at Harlinsdale. Chris Stapleton and Brandi Carlile will be headlining this year's festival. There will be a large selection of food and drink options available to attendees. You can purchase tickets here. (WKRN)
- A highly pathogenic avian influenza has halted poultry shows, exhibitions, and sales in Williamson County. The avian influenza strain was detected in West Tennessee in Obion County. The State Veterinarian has ordered the statewide halt while leading the emergency response. (Williamson Source)
- The Old Glory Chapter of the Daughter of the American Revolution is hosting a series of Constitution Week events at the Williamson County Public Library. The events started yesterday with an interactive living history event with a nationwide Bell Ringing. The series continues on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. with a "Jefferson's Triumph, The Bill of Rights" discussion led by Vanessa Pettigrew Bryan. (Williamson Source)
