- The Lotz House will be commemorating the Battle of Franklin with an illumination ceremony on the front lawn. The location was ground zero for the Nov. 30, 1864 battle. The ceremony will be at 4:30 p.m. — the exact moment that the battle began in 1864. The battle has been commemorated by the Lotz House since 2008. (williamsonherald.com)
- Williamson County has the highest gasoline prices in Middle Tennessee. County residents are currently paying $3.38 per gallon at the pump. The cheapest gasoline price in Middle Tennessee is in Rutherford County, which currently sells for $2.89 per gallon. The average price in Tennessee is $3.07 per gallon. (WGNSRadio)
- The City of Franklin has mailed 2,8000 comprehensive quality-of-life surveys to randomly selected households. The survey will allow the city to compare results against similar communities in the country.
